Start exploring the underwater world on a single breath with the Molchanovs Wave 1 course. This fun yet comprehensive program teaches the foundational knowledge and skills to become a safe and confident freediver. By the end of the course, you’ll be able to dive between 11 and 20 meters comfortably.
Wave 1 covers both theory and practical training. In the classroom, you’ll learn the physics of freediving, how pressure affects your body, and key concepts like Boyle’s Law and the Archimedes principle.
In the pool, you’ll practice dynamic disciplines, training for distance underwater both with and without fins. In open water, you’ll be introduced to depth disciplines, including constant weight with fins and free immersion techniques. Safety, buddying, and rescue skills are emphasized to help you progress confidently.
